I'm finishing up my second to last semester at Mizzou! Over the last four years I've had the privilege to do what I love in some electric environments. Here are some of my favorite moments.

In the town of New Franklin, MO there stands one restaurant: The Miracle Coffee Cup. Within lives the lives, experiences and values to this rural Missouri community. This film explores the everyday life of Franklin resident Wayne Purvis. In 1995 Purvis renovated an old garage into a church and has served as the pastor there since. Throughout the years this small church has grown to serve the town and its residents, creating a community of well-connected supportive residents. The old railway town has been declining in population since the 1930’s. Originally founded in 1816, Franklin, MO was seated just across the river from Boonville until the flood of 1827. This forced the residents of Franklin to move north, away from the river, into the area they reside in today; creating the community of New Franklin. Although the majority of the population resides in New Franklin, a small neighborhood of (old) Franklin still exists southwest of town. Throughout the years animosity has formed between the two, and the neighboring Boonville.
